Beware of scammers:
If you are contacted by someone with the name Omar or Expo Service Wuppertal or email@example.com with an DocuSign document delete the mail and do not send your credit card details under any circumstances. This companies or person does not work with K.I.T. or the ESB, we fear that they are scammers and try to get your credit card information!

* The registration fee for one-day entry is equal during all registration periods.
** Student registration: Must be student or PhD candidate at the time of registration. Please upload a scanned copy of your valid student ID card (validity must be clearly visible!) or a letter signed by your supervisor stating that you are a PhD student during registration process. Student registrations that are not supported by the requested proof within 14 days after registration, will be cancelled.

Useful information about registration
The full conference registration fee includes
• Admission to scientific program
• Admission to exhibition area
• Program booklet or program app
• Access to abstracts in electronic form
• Free wifi at the conference centre
Payment can be made by credit card or by bank transfer.
Payment by credit card can be done during the online registration process. No credit card fee will be charged. You will get a confirmation of registration and payment afterwards via email. For paying by bank transfer, you will receive an invoice including all payment details via email. All bank charges have to be covered by the delegate (please see also PDF file – ESB 2021_General Terms and Conditions).
All payments should be made in EURO (€). Personal cheques and foreign currency are not accepted. More information about payment procedure can be found in the online registration form.
Cancellation and Refunds
In case of cancellation of the registration or cancellation of single bookings received.
- Until June 1, 2021, no cancellation fee will apply;
- After June 1 and before June 30, 2021, a cancellation fee of 50% of the registration fee applies;
- After June 30, 2021, no refund will be given for any cancellations and the claim for the full payment of all registration fees remains.
No refund will be made in case of non-appearance or early departure.
In case of cancellations due to denied VISA applications, the full registration fee minus a processing fee of € 50.00 will be refunded after having received a proof of the rejection from the corresponding embassy via email, mail or fax.
In case of cancellations of the whole conference by the organiser due to COVID-19 pandemic, the full registration fee minus a processing fee of € 50.00 will be refunded.
Should the social program be cancelled by the organiser due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all paid amounts for social events will be refunded.
All registration changes and cancellations have to be communicated to K.I.T. Group in written form, i.e. via email, regular mail or fax. The time at which the written cancellation is received by K.I.T. Group GmbH Dresden is deemed to be the time of cancellation.
All participants, accompanying persons and exhibitors must wear the identification badges. Entrance to meeting halls and exhibition area will not be permitted to any person without a badge.
The registration fee does not include insurance of any kind. K.I.T. only acts as mediator and is not liable for any losses of things, accidents, destruction and damage of property and/or in the injury of persons, the reason not mattering. This applies for travel to/from the conference as well as the attendance in the conference. Participants and accompanying persons participate in all conference sessions and social events on their own risk. They are advised to organize appropriate travel and health insurance themselves.
K.I.T. Group GmbH Dresden solely acts as an agent and is neither liable for any losses of goods, destruction or damage of property nor for any accidents or the injury of persons, regardless of which legal reason. The participation at the conference and all corresponding events is at your own risk.
Fulfilment and Jurisdiction
The place of fulfilment and court of jurisdiction is Dresden. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. If not specified otherwise, Coordinated Universal Time (UTC +00:00) applies for all dates and times mentioned.
Official Letter of Invitation
Official letters of invitation designed to help overcome administrative difficulties in certain countries may be requested during the online registration process. It must be understood that such letters do not represent a commitment on the part of the Organizing Committee or conference organisation to provide any financial assistance. A customised invitation letter for visa purposes is only available for delegates with a confirmed registration that has been paid in full.
Certificate of Attendance
Delivery of the Certificates of Attendance will take place after the conference via email.
Safety and Security
It is advisable that you do not leave bags or suitcases unattended at any time, whether inside or outside the session halls. The organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss or damage to private property of participants.
